The Leimert Park Renaissance

A rebirth of what has basically transpired into a fading business district which represents the final front for the Black community here in Los Angeles. Our goal is to give the business community a shot in the arm; a transfusion of new life, activity and revenue. We want to develop a thriving business community and a supportive consumer base. Then showcase this location to the tourist world as a shining example of a great people coming together.

Not quite like Harlem, but without a Leimert Park, the Black community will have no presence in Los Angeles. The Black community will become an invisible people lost in a transition of economic deprivation.

The Leimert Park Renaissance represents the unification and revitalization of a community’s once glorious past.
