it has been said that the strength of a people lie in the character of it's women. the realization of the goals and objectives of this project in black communities throughout america will not only restore hope to our black men, it will also strengthen the character of our women, positively effecting the rebuilding of the black family and the black community. many prayers for the success and expansion of the umoja project.

As a criminal defennse lawyer in Virginia, I all to often see kids who come in contact with the court systems who ask "why try?", "who cares?", and say "whatever" about their futures. Black men get out of jail or prison with no plan develpoed for them prior to release or after they hit the streets again. So guess what, within 6 months or less they are back before the courts again. Its a vicious cycle that must be broken so we as a black community can move forward with our heads high.

Godspeed, Miracles and Blessings to this venture.

MARLON,

Great work, Blessings to your project, hopefully we can partner regarding some business opportunities in East Africa, (and elsewhere). I just returned from there, IT IS TIME for African Americans and Africans to reconnect! IT IS TIME FOR BLACK TO WAKE UP, know where our money goes. God has given our motherland plenty resources but yet our people live in poverty and our countries continue to borrow money from the West, paying high interests. This is the right year to engage in such project, a sabbatical year, a year to experience new freedom!

Let the truth be known! Lead by example. It is about building trust among our people, and our youth. To build trust, truth and strength among us, our leaders must stand steadfast in their own creature, leading by example, truth trust and honesty will always reveal the strength in us as one. Stand tall; be proud of what you have done!
